Class Sketchbook - Albert Park

This is a quick drawing of a view in Albert Park, which I am quite happy with. I have never been good at drawing trees especially trees in the far distance, so I picked this view to try and practice. I do like the tree trunk on the right as I am happy with the branches, but the tree on the left seems a bit bare. I'm not happy with the big open grass patch as it looks too blank and I wasn't sure how to fix it.

The photo above shows the view I was drawing. I was unsure on how to draw the leaves on the ground, so I plan to go back to the same scene and practice drawing leaves and distant trees. Overall, I am quite happy with this sketch and I know how it can be improved.
